At Solomon’s Fresh Market, our mission is to support healthy living and contribute to the community that we live in, while helping to preserve our environment for future generations. As we regularly make financial contributions to nonprofit organizations and will always continue to do so, we recognize that time is just as valuable as money. We believe that volunteering is the glue that holds a community together and we want to provide opportunities for our customers and their families to give back.

This is why we have created the Solomon’s Fresh Market Kids Who Care Club-a program designed to inspire, equip and mobilize kids to take actions that impact their community in a positive way through education and hands-on service projects.

Who Are We?

We are a nonprofit founded by Solomon’s Fresh Market and guided by the same values and principles implemented in our stores. The Solomon’s Fresh Market Kids Club is dedicated to developing compassion and inspiring a spirit of volunteering in children.

Why Join?

Studies have shown that children who volunteer from an early age adopt healthy lifestyle choices, learn valuable life skills and continue to give back to their communities into adulthood. Kids will be given the opportunity to organize and participate in service based programs that will impact society and earn community service points for school.

Who Can Join?

• Volunteers: Boys and Girls ages 7-14.
• Team Leaders: High School Students Ages 15-18
• Chaperones: Parents, Teachers and any other adult willing to supervise events

What Kind of Events Will We Be Organizing?

Events fall into following categories:
• Earth Care: Participating in beach/park cleanups, recycling programs and planting trees.
• Animal Care: Volunteering in local animal shelters and fund raising events for our furry friends.
• Community Care: Raising money for local charities and assisting members of the community.
• Health Care: Attending health classes and events centered on food, cooking, fitness and overall health and well being.

Is There a Registration Fee?

There are no registration fees or fees of any kind.
